Africa memory (The Orphanage)

"The hunger for love is more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread"    Mother Teresa

The moment I had been waiting for...the baby orphanage with over 125 precious little babies. We finally arrived and for the next 2hours I would struggle to hold back my tears. They all wanted to be held . Amber picked one little boy up (about 2 years old ) and he wrapped his arms so tight around her neck that when she wanted to pick up another baby she had to pry him off her while crying. Some of the littlest babies would only cry when you held them and would stop as soon as you set them down..The baby rooms had  triple deck bunk beds sleeping about 45 babies to a room. Our ride back home that day was very quiet.I understood the work the orphanages were doing was very important. These babies would starve without help from these organizations. But just as important as they need food ,they need to be loved. What was I doing there. What do we do with what we now know. It wasnt till later I saw the backgroung of this picture below. We dont know exactly what we will do but as we take our steps He will direct our paths.

I would be an emotional wreck. It would be soooo hard to put them back down when they just want to be held :(
