The Playground...not the happy moment we were expecting

                  We finally got the playground finished.As they brought the children to play for the first time(they had never seen a playground before) you would have thought they were waiting in line at the doctors office for shots. The children were scooted unwillingly along by there teacher to set them on the swings and the rock climbing wall. There were no smiles only looks of terror in there eyes. One little boy was so scared he urinated on himself.This was not the happy moment we were expecting. After about 30 minutes of coaxing some of the children began to laugh.

There are many things we have to learn about the people of Kenya. Nothing we new of back home will be the same. But I do believe next time we come(at the end of the summer with our 3 daughters) we will see lots of laughter and smiling faces.
